Approx. 40º for sticky materials, such as wet sand, earth etc.
Approx. 25º up to 35º for packages, such as sacks, bales (paper hessian) etc.
Belt width: CHEVRON belts are available in standard widths from 400 mm up to and including 1600 mm, depending on profile. Cover quality: Quality RA, abrasion resistant. Other qualities on application. Belt edges:Chevron and High Chevron belts are supplied with moulded rubber edges. Splicing:Chevron Belts can be made endless with a hot or a cold vulcanised splice. As the splice is in the form of a vee, care must be taken that the profile is maintained.
